National and international visibility

cd2e was recognized as a regional centre of environmental excellence by the Nord-Pas de Calais region, which aims to support territories and eco-businesses in order to position Nord-Pas de Calais as an innovative region in matters of sustainable development and in the eco-industrial sectors in France and worldwide. With the support of the Nord-Pas de Calais region, cd2e is counting on certain communities to lead the way in managing/encouraging and consolidating its approach, in particular the urban community of Lens/Liévin and the commune of Loos-en-Gohelle, both of which are stakeholders in the ongoing cooperation project with Québec.                         

 

Through this cooperation, the different levels of environmental authority in these two regions, Montérégie and Nord-Pas-de-Calais, also wish to share their expertise and establish forums for discussion and exchange on new technologies in the aforementioned fields and on information tools, which will enable them not only to develop concrete synergies but also to capitalize on their respective models and public processes that have been implemented to support and structure this development.
